BHIWADI MOST POLLUTED CITY IN WORLD: Industries told to switch to bio fuel or face action

Jaipur: According to the Global Air Quality Report 2021 released by IQ-Air, a worldwide air pollution monitoring organization, Bhiwadi tops the list of most polluted cities in the world.

The Air Commission had asked some industries in Bhiwadi to convert to clean or bio fuel but this did not happen. According to the guidelines given by the Central Commission constituted for quality management of air pollution in the NCR region, the industrial areas where PNG is available have been asked to switch over to clean fuel by September 30.

A meeting was organized with the industrial unions of Bhiwadi and Alwar and PNG suppliers under the chairmanship of Pollution Board President Vinu Gupta to review the efforts made in this direction two days ago. Representatives of Alwar DC, and various industrial associations were present in the meeting.
