New Delhi: The Election Commission on Thursday announced the schedule for assembly election in Gujarat. The state, where the BJP is currently in power, goes to the hustings on December 1. Assembly polls in Gujarat will be held in two phases. The Legislative Assembly of Gujarat is 182-members strong. This time, the election will witness a three-cornered contest between the ruling BJP, the Congress and the AAP.
