Barmer youth tied, beaten up, humiliated by chopping off hair

Barmer: On suspicion of an illicit relationship, a man in Barmer was first beaten up and later humiliated by cutting his hair.

Two videos of the incident also went viral on social media. Meanwhile, on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim, police had lodged the case and initiated the probe.

Though the victim had lodged the case of kidnapping and assault but initial police probe revealed that the reason behind the incident was an illicit relationship.

Till the last report no arrest was made. Goparam Gawariya, a resident of Barmer had lodged a case with the Sheo police alleging that on January 4 when he was going to Fatehgarh, some people had kidnapped him and took him to an isolated place where they not only beaten him but also humiliated him by cutting his hair.
