Bairwa halts HSRP booking; FADA opposes instructions

Jaipur: Deputy CM Dr Prem Chand Bairwa has halted the High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) booking process. Pending applicants must install plates within five days and can then seek refunds.

The Deputy Chief Minister has tasked ACS Shreya Guha with overseeing HSRP installation and directed ACS Transport to shut down the current booking portal. The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) opposes this change, warning it may cause quality issues, noncompliance with MORTH rules, and disrupt the system.
