Assam to study "few things" in Jharkhand after CM Soren decides to send panel in state

Guwahati: Days after Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand cabinet took a decision to send a panel to Assam to check the condition of the tribal community of Jharkhand working in the tea gardens of the state, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that his government will also send two teams to study a few things in Jharkhand.
"We will also send two teams to Jharkhand to study a few things in Jharkhand. We will take a decision on it in our next cabinet meeting which will be held on December 5," Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Saturday night at Assam State BJP headquarters in Guwahati.
Sarma said that he would be happy if someone saw the work they did.
He further said, "We will be happy if somebody looks at our work because we have done so many works here. They are sending one team here, but we will send two delegation teams to Jharkhand to see two special things. They will see us and we will also see them," Sarma said.
On the other hand, talking about his cabinet expansion, the Assam Chief Minister said, "We will have to induct one from Barak Valley in our cabinet expansion. Because there is no representative from Barak Valley in our cabinet. We have not decided so far about a big or small reshuffle."
Days after retaining power in Jharkhand beating anti-incumbency and opposition's allegations of 'corruption', Hemant Soren took oath as the 14th Chief Minister of the state and also assumed office on Thursday.
After taking the oath, he also addressed a press conference and announced Stephen Marandi as the protem speaker of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
"Stephen Marandi has been chosen as the protem speaker of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. The Jharkhand Legislative Assembly session will commence from December 9-12. Benefits under the Maiya Samman Yojana will be provided from December... The reasons for the deaths of candidates during the physical test in the Jharkhand Police recruitment drive will be done," said CM Soren.
