Arvind Kejriwal’s acts in Gujarat spill the beans

New Delhi: It is a widely known aspect that every good leader needs to be an actor too but if a leader keeps acting all the time and if his politics is filled with drama, then it can be safely said that the said leader is surely bringing down his own credibility in the public. Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal is doing exactly that. He has made his whole politics, a farce. What he did during his two-day tour of Gujarat was an overdose of drama. According to reports, he had gone to Gujarat on a chartered flight but he played the shocking drama of taking an auto ride. To go to an auto driver’s house for lunch, he insisted that he would go by auto only. Gujarat Police stopped him from doing so due to his safety and protocol but he did not listen. On the contrary, he shouted at the Gujarat Police and asked to withdraw the security.

Keep in mind Arvind Kejriwal will probably be the only leader of the country, who has got Z plus security from two places. The central government has given him Z security, so after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab in March, he got Z plus security from there as well. Kejriwal walks in Delhi with complete pomp and show. A route is taken for him, traffic is stopped and a convoy of vehicles moves back and forth. He also reached Gujarat with similar pomp, but then engaged in a political stunt of riding an auto. He has done similar stunts in Delhi and Punjab also. The question is that if he is so down to earth and don’t want frills, then why doesnt he return the security provided by the central and Punjab government? He should return security cover and travel like normal people.
