Apni Beti ko Sambhal Pehle: Farah Khan takes a dig at Chunky Panday after he calls out her overacting

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Farah Khan is known for her quick-witted and direct humour and she does not hold herself back in front of anyone. Something similar happened when a banter between Chunky Panday and Farah Khan erupted in the comments section of Ananya Panday’s post.

Ananya recently shared a video starring her along with her crew and a cameo by Farah Khan. The video starts with Ananya introducing herself when Farah barges into the room shouting, “Ananya Ananya Ananya! You got the National award for Khaali Peeli!” As the young actress and her team rejoice, the camera shifts to Farah with a poker face as she says the dialogue, “I am just joking” in the way that Ananya’s father Chunky Panday’s iconic character Aakhri Paasta does.

Ananya captioned the video, “50 rupya kaat overacting ke 🤭 always the funnest time with @farahkhankunder 💕”. Father Chunky Panday commented on the post, “Farah you should get the Award for Overacting in this Video 😅🤣😅🤣” to which Farah gave the wittiest reply, “Apni Beti ko sambhal pehle”. This funny banter showcased the close camaraderie that Chunky and Farah share.

The two have always ensued in such funny quips with Farah Khan also wishing Chunky on his wedding anniversary saying that if he had married her, they would’ve had triplets.

Meanwhile, Khaali Peeli was a 2020 action drama starring Anandya Panday and Ishaan Khatter as the main leads. The actress is currently busy with several shooting schedules with her upcoming project Liger with Vijay Deverakonda and Ramya Krishnan. The actress was last seen in Gehraiyaan alongside Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa.
