Anushka Sharma shares a glimpse of Chakda ‘Xpress; looks unrecognisable as Jhulan Goswami

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Anushka Sharma’s career at the moment is the envy of many. She not only has been a part of some of the biggest blockbusters of Bollywood but also has donned the cap of a producer for many good films. The actress is currently gearing up for her biopic on the former Indian cricket captain Jhulan Goswami titled Chakda ‘Xpress. She had been away from the big screens for a long time since the birth of her daughter, Vamika. After her 2018 venture ‘Zero’, the actor has been a great producer who has brought forward some amazing films. But as she gears up for her comeback, Anushka is making sure no stone is left unturned.

She has been training hard for the film and every once in a while shares some BTS and stills from the sets of the movie. The actor has again shared another visual from the film along with the caption, “A moment from a story that needs to be told!” Donning a shirt and pants with a pixie haircut, Anushka could be seen making a call from a PCO while the rain splattered on the ground.

When the movie was first announced in January this year, Anushka shared that she wanted to retell a dramatic adaptation of the struggles of KJhulan Goswami that shaped Indian cricket. Sharma added that it would be an eye-opener into the world of women’s cricket. The film is directed by Prosit Roy and Clean Slate Filmz.
