Anjali Phougat, the designer behind Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu’s beautiful peacock lehenga

So, Anjali Phougat created the perfect lehenga for Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, keeping in mind the latest trend. "We designed an Indian wedding look for Miss Universe's content day after receiving a special request from Harnaaz Kaur, who wanted to wear a lehenga for the day and show off the best Indian wedding look to the worldwide audience. Peacock lehenga in mint green with zardozi and multi-thread work," Anjali stated.

"From tiny little peacock patterns to stunning peacocks studded with ten thousand hand-adorned mirrors, we have curated the mirrored peacock design lehenga for Miss Universe Harnaaz," the designer added.

Anjali's work is favoured by several high-profile celebrities. Harnaaz, the winner of the Miss Universe Pageant in 2021, had her jewellery and various dresses designed by her.

Anjali’s outfits were also showcased on the 2021 and 2022 Cannes Film Festival red carpet and New York Fashion Week shows.
