All India Coordination meeting of RSS concludes in Raipur

Raipur: The All India Coordination meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded on Monday in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The RSS lashed out at the Congress, saying it wants to connect people through hatred, while asserting the national party’s earlier generations, too, harboured animosity and contempt for the RSS. RSS Joint General Secretary Dr Manmohan Vaidya, apparently referring to the Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, described it as a “political gimmick” that will not serve its stated purpose of uniting masses.

Dr Vaidya claimed the grand old party harboured hatred for the Nagpur-headquartered organization and tried to scuttle its growth, but the outfit nevertheless expanded with support of the society. He said that key officials of 36 organizations, inspired by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, mainly discussed how to encourage local products instead of branded. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat attended the meet.
