Ahead of K’taka elections, CM Bommai cabinet to induct three new ministers!

New Delhi: Assembly elections in Karnataka are to be announced after two months i.e. in March and elections will be held for 224 assembly seats in the state in April. That is, in total, the government has less than three months because the code of conduct comes into force with the announcement of elections. Despite this, new ministers have to be made for these three months. It is being told that the party high command has given permission to Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai to expand the cabinet. It is also being told that the names to be included in the cabinet have also been agreed upon. According to informed sources in the BJP, such politically strong faces are being included in the expansion, who are still angry and can harm in the elections. First up is the name of BY Vijayendra, son of former Chief Minister and BJP Parliamentary Board member BS Yeddyurappa. Ever since Yeddyurappa had stepped down, it was being said that Vijayendra would become a minister. But he neither got a seat in the Legislative Council nor was made a minister. Even though he is not an MLA, there is no problem in making him a minister because now elections are to be held within six months and he is going to contest from his father’s Shikaripura seat.
