"Aghadi bhrashtachar ke sabse bade khiladi": PM Modi launches scathing attack on MVA at Chimur rally

Chandrapur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the opposition 'Maha Vikas Aghadi' over the growth in the state and accused the alliance of putting a break in the development of Maharashtra.

Likening the MVA as the 'biggest player of corruption,' the Prime Minister said that the MVA has done a 'PHD' in putting brakes and 'stalling, hanging and wandering' the development projects of the city.

Addressing a rally in Chandrapur's Chimur, PM Modi said, "Maharashtra ka tez vikas Aghadi walo ki baski baat nai hai. MVA ne keval kaamo par break lagane mai PHD ki hai. Kaamo ko atkana, latkana aur bhatkana."

Taking a shot at the Congress, PM Modi said that the party has done a double PhD and is an expert in this concept of putting a break in the development works

"Ye Congress wale toh isme expert hai, 2.5 years mai inhone har vikas ki projects ko rokne ki koshish ki hai. Aghadi wale hai bhrashtachar ke sabse bade Khiladi," said PM Modi.

Raising a question to the audience, PM Modi asked whether the people of Chimbur will let the MVA put a pause on the development of the city.

"Kya aap inhe dobara loot ka licence milne denge kya? loot karne denge kya, khazana bharne denge kya??? Will you let the MVA put a break in the development of Maharashtra?" questioned the Prime Minister.

In a sharp remark, PM Modi criticized the speed at which the Mahayuti government operates, saying that the people of Chandrapur are the best witnesses to how these Aghadi parties hinder progress.

"At what speed does the Mahayuti government work and how do these Aghadi people stop the work, who will know this better than the people of Chandrapur? People here have been demanding rail connectivity for decades, but the Congress and Aghadi people never allowed this work to happen," said PM Modi, while taking a swipe at the opposition alliance.

The Prime Minister in his address also congratulated the people of the state for the BJP's manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections, which includes 25 promises aimed at benefiting the people of Maharashtra if the party is re-elected for another term.

PM Modi said that the BJP's manifesto will become a 'Vikas Ki Guarantee' (development guarantee) for Maharashtra in the next five years.

He said that along with Mahayuti, the NDA government at the centre means double engine government in Maharashtra, which means double speed of development.

"Today I would like to congratulate the Maharashtra BJP, which has released a wonderful manifesto. In this, many wonderful resolutions were taken for our daughters and sisters, for the farmers, for the youth power of the country, and for the development of Maharashtra," he said.

"Whether it is the AI university, water green project or water pipelines in houses, permanent residences or to increase digital connectivity, the manifesto has presented several initiatives," added PM Modi.

"Along with Mahayuti, the NDA government at the centre means double engine government in Maharashtra. This means double speed of development. The people of Maharashtra have seen this double pace of development in the last 2.5 years," said PM Modi.

Highlighting the developments in the state under the BJP governance, PM Modi said, "Today Maharashtra is the state in the country where maximum foreign investments are taking place. New airports and new expressways are being built here. Around a dozen Vande Bharat trains are running in Maharashtra, more than 100 stations here are being renovated and many railway routes are being expanded."

PM Modi further stated that the election results in Maharashtra are clear, as evidenced by the massive turnout of people.

He asserted that this surge of support indicates that a Mahayuti government with a full majority is set to be formed in the state.

"The results of elections in Maharashtra have been made clear by you people today. This 'jan sailaab' (wave) of people is saying that a Mahayuti government is going to be formed with huge majority in Maharashtra. The people of Chimur and entire Maharashtra have accepted that the alliance of BJP-Mahayuti will form the government," said PM Modi.

PM Modi remarked, "Log hi log — aisa lag raha hai, 'Kesariya Sagar' lehra raha hai," referring to the overwhelming support and enthusiasm, and likening it to the rising waves of a saffron sea, symbolizing the strong backing for the BJP.

As the elections for the 288 seats in the Assembly approach closer, the political battle between the two major alliances, the Mahayuti and the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) intensify.

The polls are scheduled for November 20 and counting will be held on November 23.

The opposition MVA, comprises Congress, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT), and Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (SCP).
