After Uddhav-Aaditya, ‘trouble’ knocks at matriarch Rashmi’s door

Mumbai: BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya, right after getting relief in INS Vikrant fraud case, has now started targetting the top leaders of the MVA government. In this connection, he had warned Mahavikas Aghadi leaders in a tweet on Saturday. On the last day of the year 2022, Somaiya had announced a new war by nominating 5 leaders. After issuing the warning on Saturday; on Sunday, Somaiya went straight to the police station and lodged a complaint against Uddhav Thackeray’s wife - Rashmi Thackeray and five others.

Somaiya has filed a complaint against Rashmi Thackeray in Revdanda police station in connection with 19 bungalows alleging a land transaction between Rashmi Thackeray and Anvay Naik.

Tweeting about this, he has announced the names of 5 leaders. Thackeray faction leader Anil Parab is on Somaiya’s target in the Sai Resort case of Uddhav Thackeray and his family. Along with this, Somaiya also mentioned NCP leader Hasan Mushrif, Congress leader Aslam Sheikh and Thackeray faction leader Kishori Pednekar in his tweet and warned Mahavikas Aghadi leadership of difficult times ahead.

Speaking with the media, he said, “The land dealing documents of Rashmi Thackeray have been destroyed. When Uddhav Thackeray was the Chief Minister, he got the records destroyed. That’s why a thorough investigation of the episode should be done. That’s why we have decided to file a complaint.”

“Raigad Zilla Parishad have committed offences punishable under Sections 415,420,467,468,471 of IPC and also under the provisions of Village Panchyat record for forging the record of Grampanchayat and committing illegal acts in the Grampanchayat,” he said.

Interestingly, apart from Rashmi Thackeray, Somaiya has filed the case against five other individuals including Manisha Ravindra Waikar, a resident of Mumbai; Collector Raigad Alibaug; Chief Executive Officer of Raigad Zila Parishad and Sarpach (former and current) of Gram Panchayat Korlai.
