Post fire incident, Ranbir will return to Luv Ranjan’s film after completing Animal

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Ranbir Kapoor is currently busy shooting back-to-back films and does not seem to get a break. While his second release of the year, Brahmastra is nearing its release date, he is shooting for two more upcoming films. It was earlier reported that Ranbir had taken a break from the shooting of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal and was busy with completing Luv Ranjan’s untitled project, it seems that the tables have turned.

After the fire incident that happened on the sets of Luv Ranjan’s film, Ranbir has moved on to shoot for Animal. It has been reported that he will not return to the rom-com until he is done with shooting this gangster thriller.

Meanwhile, Luv Ranjan’s untitled project is on its last leg of the shoot with only a crucial song sequence remaining to be filmed. However, it has been facing several obstacles as the main lead, Shraddha Kapoor too had fallen sick during the shoot and recently a fire accident on the sets killed one person.

A source close to the development mentioned to ETimes, “The fire that happened on Luv Ranjan's set has resulted in another delay in the shooting of this film. But then Ranbir's dates were with Animal and he had to go for that shoot. Luv's film will now be completed later.” The source further added that the remaining song sequence has a crucial part to play in the film. It is a huge scene with 200 dancers and is being choreographed by Bosco Martinez.
