Adulteration in food items will not be tolerated: Meena

Jaipur: Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena on Friday said that adulteration in food items will not be tolerated at any level.

He has directed the officials to take maximum samples and take strict action if adulteration is found. Meena was reviewing the progress of the ‘Sudhh Ke Liye Yudhh’ campaign.

“It is the responsibility of the government to provide pure food items to the people. Since January 1, samples of more than 1,700 food items have been taken,” he said. Meena said that on an average 100 samples are being taken daily.

He said that by bringing more momentum, availability of pure food items would be ensured.
