Action ka Baap: Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff and Sunny Deol roped in for action thriller

Mumbai (Maharashtra): Ahmed Khan is coming up with an action thriller of the year with Om – The Battle Within. The film has not been released yet and the choreographer cum director cum producer has already started working on another action film. According to reports by Pinkvilla, Zee and Ahmed Khan have roped in Sunny Deol, Mithun Chakraborty, Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt for an action-packed film directed by Vivek Chauhan.

A source close to the development revealed, “The baap of action - Mithun Chakraborty, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff are teaming up on a dhamakedaar action entertainer. The film goes on floors within a month with a marathon schedule. The movie will be shot at multiple locations, including a studio in Mumbai.”

Sources reveal it to be an attempt by Khan and Zee to bring together the action stars that have been in Bollywood since the 80s. The source added, “It's more of a desi Expendables, as all the four men are historically known for having an action image among the masses.”

It will be a treat to watch such megastars come together on-screen for the first time in four decades. All four stars have entertained Bollywood fanatics with some of the most super hit films like Gadar, Jallaad, Vastav, Hero and many such engaging classic films. Sanjay Dutt was last seen in KGF: Chapter 2. Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff will be seen in Om – The Battle Within. Mithun Chakraborty and Sunny Deol have respectively been away from the limelight for the past few years but have an array of future projects lined up.
