A peace activist was chosen as a delegate to the G20 meeting held at the Central Secretariat's Vigyan Bhawan Located in New Delhi, India

Dr Ahmed Haque participated in the G20 Summit of 2023 as a delegate.This conference will examine how India became the G20 President, as well as what it can accomplish. Founded in 1999, the G20 is a group of twenty of the world's largest economies that meet regularly to coordinate global policy in the areas of trade, health, climate, and other subjects.

It was India's turn to preside over the G20 for a year.India, as the fifth largest economy in the world, has an excellent opportunity to shape world opinion at a time when widespread polarization and geopolitical rigidity are escalating.'One Earth, One Family, One Future' is the theme of India's G20 chairmanship, which is based on the ancient Sanskrit ethos known as "Vasudahaiva Kutumbakam.".

Prime Minister Modi assured the world leaders in Bali on 1 Dec 2022 that India would pursue inclusive, ambitious, decisive, and action-oriented policies during its tenure as the G20 presidency.Following a description of the key themes and priorities to be addressed at G20, PM Modi noted that economic growth or technological advancement cannot be achieved without a strong message of 'peace and harmony'.

Dr Ahmed haque is the UN's Peace Ambassador and General Secretary for world Peace and Harmony. He delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude for this honor.

During India's presidency of the G20 grouping of the world's most advanced and emerging economies, hope, harmony, peace, and stability will be the guiding themes.India will work tirelessly to advance peace, stability and shared prosperity in a fragmented world.

The other participants included former Union Minister and Vice President of Gandhi Darshan Vijay Goel, Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi, Union Minister Ramdas Athavale, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal Qasmi (MP), Mehboob Ali Kaiser (MP), Mithilesh Kumar (MP), Ghulam Ali Khatana (Rajya Sabha), Colonel Shailendra Singh (Defence Expert), Kanwar Danish Ali (MP), Ashok Vajpeyi (MP),Dr. Kalam Sahab’s press secretary Shri S.M. Khan, Shri Omkar Singh ( Deputy Director of Parliament) , Delhi Minorities Commission Chairman Zakir Khan Mansoori , Dr Satnam Deuchakar ( U.N Diplomat) and many others.
