Will expand floriculture market in Bundi: Om Birla
Bundi: In the plan of doubling the income of farmers by the Modi government at the Centre, along with the scheme of Kisan Credit Card related to agriculture, there are also plans for wide concessions and subsidies in allied agriculture schemes like dairy, animal husbandry, fisheries. Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary, while talking to media during a programme of disbursement of loans for cattle farmers in Bundi, also said that by making farmers aware, they are connecting others with many such schemes to make farming a profitable deal.
In this loan distribution programme organised at Old Krishi Mandi, Bundi, animal husbandry loans were distributed to more than 10,000 selected cattle farmers of the district at affordable rates.
Chairing the event, LS Speaker Om Birla said that there is a huge potential for floriculture in many areas of Bundi & by expanding scope of this cultivation being done on a small scale, setting up a pressing plant of other flowers including roses are a part of the plan.
