Jodhpur: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed confidence that due to good governance and the work done in the state on the basis of the manifesto, once again Congress government is going to be formed in Rajasthan.
Accepting the challenge given by Rahul Gandhi to form the government, Gehlot said on Monday that they will “form the Congress government in Rajasthan again on the basis of the hard work of the workers and the work done by the government.” Gehlot was speaking to the media in Jodhpur where he attended a number of events.
Gehlot was referring to a statement of Rahul on Sunday where he said that the party was “certainly winning” Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh and the contest in Rajasthan was “very close” but hoped to pull it off in the end.
