Transport department’s flying squads attacked, cash stolen

Jaipur: Questions have been raised again regarding the safety of flying squads in the Transport Department. On Wednesday an assault took place involving flying squads. Near Ring Road in Muhana, some individuals orchestrated an attack with a plan in mind. They vandalized the vehicle and also stole approximately Rs 37,000.

The POS machine of the flying squad was also damaged in the incident. In such an environment, how will the flying squads of the dept be able to carry out their duties effectively? It should be noted that the attack on the flying squad of the Transport Dept was premeditated.
