State govt committed to women empowerment: CM
Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot said that the State Govt is continuously working towards the upliftment of minority class and women empowerment. He said that it is the result of schemes run in the field of women’s health that today 96% institutional deliveries are taking place in Raj and maternal mortality rate & infant mortality rate have also decreased.
Gehlot was addressing a dialogue programme with women from various minority classes at CMR on Wednesday.
The women representatives expressed gratitude to the CM for public welfare and women empowerment schemes. During this, women representatives of various organizations of Jain, Sikh, Muslim and Christian communities presented their views.
The women representatives also took a pledge to convey the information about the public welfare schemes of state government to the person standing at the end of the line. They said that the relief being provided by the Mehangai Rahat Camps is commendable. Suggestions were also exchanged on executing various schemes.
