Sports council enforces National Sports Code after 13 years

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Sports Council has announced the enforcement of the National Sports Code, following a 13-year period during which state and district sports associations have failed to implement it.

Demonstrating a firm stance, the Council has issued a two-month ultimatum to these associations to comply with the Sports Code.

In a letter addressed to all sports associations, the Council’s Secretary has warned that failure to implement the Sports Code within the stipulated time will result in the withdrawal of their recognition.
