SOG busts fake degree racket, directors held

Jaipur: The SOG, on Friday, arrested the directors of two universities who issued fake degrees. During interrogation, the university directors told SOG that the records were destroyed in a blaze and they were not at fault. DIG Paris Deshmukh said, “Jogendra Singh, director of OPJS University, which issued fake degrees, and Jitendra Yadav, director of Sunrise & MK University, have been arrested.Investigation revealed the involvement of Sarita Kadwasara, Singh’s girlfriend. She was detained from Rohtak. Sarita was the registrar of OPJS University from the year 2013- 2015 and chairperson from 2017-2020.”
