Rajasthan winters begin: Mount Abu chills at 6.8°C
Jaipur: The winter season has started in Rajasthan with minimum temperature ranging between 7 degrees and 16 degree Celsius on Wednesday. The lowest minimum temperature was 6.8 degrees in Mount Abu, while the highest minimum temperature was 16.2 degrees at Phalodi. Parts of state were also covered in light fog.
According to the meteorological department, the weather would remain dry in Eastern and Western Rajasthan for next six days.
The department also stated that there will not be much fog for the next two days in the state.
The maximum temperature was between 20 degrees and 32 degrees in the state. Maximum of 31.9 degrees was recorded in Barmer. Meanwhile, the Tibetan Market has started in Mansarovar in Jaipur with the onset of winters. This time the sales during the winter season is expected to be Rs 5 crore, said Lhamo, the chief of Tibetan Refugee Hosiery Seller Union.
