Jodhpur: Union Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Sunday reiterated that the performance of Rajasthan in Jal Jeevan Mission is not up to the expectations and the state stands at 32 position in the country. He said that the state government had the highest budget of Rs 27000 but the government could carry out development works worth only Rs 3000 crore in three years.The minister said there is no dearth of funds for the mission.
During the public hearing in Jodhpur’s Lohawat, Shekhawat said that the targets would be achieved by 2024 with the support of all. The minister heard the grievances of the people during his Lohawat visit.
