RAJ FIRST STATE TO IMPLEMENT OPS, ALL STATES MUST DO IT: CM GEHLOT

Jaipur: Now BJP has started accepting Ambedkar, but 25 years ago no one used to believe. Democracy has been maintained till now due to the constitution made by Ambedkar, Gehlot said during teachers’ programme at Rajasthan University on Friday. Firing salvos at the Central Government, he said, “Rajasthan is the first state to implement OPS. A demand has been made from the Centre regarding this, that it should be implemented in all states and at the central level as well. BJP is against the OPS. Today, the centre does not tolerate if anyone expresses disagreement. When I became the CM for the second time then the issue of promotion in reservation came up and we fought a battle in the Supreme Court, and we won the case. Rajasthan is the only state where there is reservation in promotion. Earlier there was reservation in UP, don’t know why it was abolished there? We tried to serve the last person. We made a rule for the first time in India.”

Gehlot said that of Leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria praises the budget, but also questions as to where will the budget come from. Gehlot replied on this and said, “Money will come through magic. I am a magician.” Gehlot further said, “’We were defamed in the name of 2-G spectrum cases. Today 2-G spectrum case has disappeared,and no one went to jail.” Praising the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Bima Yojna, Gehlot said that he told a union minister about it and he was surprised. “We ensured free treatment through insurance of ten lakhs and made organ transplant free.”
