Jaipur: PM Narendra Modi on Monday made it clear that the party will contest assembly polls in Rajasthan on the party symbol ‘Lotus’ sans any CM face.
“It is clear that BJP will fight elections on lotus flower. The Lotus is our identity and pride,” said Modi at the end of his speech in Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha at Dadiya in Jaipur.
The PM attacked the state govt over issues of paper leak, rise in crime, red diary, killing of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, and corruption. For the first time in Rajasthan, PM Modi’s unique roadshow was organized in the public meeting. Special focus was on women empowerment and women reservation decision as Modi promised guarantee to women.
Calling upon people to oust Congress govt in the polls due later this year, he also accused the Gehlot govt of wasting five important years.
