No e-challans being issued in Ajmer since last one year

Ajmer: The use of CCTV cameras for generating echallans is not being made in Ajmer for the past year. These CCTV cameras, installed at the Abhay Command Center, were instrumental in monitoring and penalizing traffic rule violations. However, since May 2023, this method has been inactive.

In light of this, the traffic police have written to the ASP of the Abhay Command Center, requesting the resumption of the e-challan system. The letter specifically urges the command centre to resume sending photographs of traffic violators so that appropriate action can be taken against negligent drivers.
