MLA Ravindra S Bhati booked for pressuring police in protesters release
Jaisalmer: The problems of Sheo MLA Ravindra S Bhati has increased as a case was registered against him at the Jhinjhinayali Police Station in Jaisalmer district. The incident involves Bhati allegedly intervening in the detention of two protesters who were opposing the solar power project construction on Friday.
The protesters were reportedly detained, but Bhati exerted pressure on the police to have them released by placing them in a vehicle. As a result, the police registered a case against Bhati under various sections of the BNSS. The investigation has been forwarded to CID CB for further probe.
