Membership process starts for Raj Constitution Club

Jaipur: The process of becoming a member of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Constitution Club has started with the distribution of application forms. Application forms can be obtained from the Assembly Secretariat and seven categories have been created for membership of the club.

On behalf of the applicant, applications can be made for lifetime, ordinary, special, general, non-resident and individual foreign, temporary and institutional membership of the club. MPs, MLAs, former MPs and former MLAs will have to pay fifty thousand rupees to become life members. Whereas for officers this amount will be Rs 1.5 lakh. Apart from this, if other people of the society want to take membership of the club, they will have to pay an amount of seven lakhs. The Governing Council will decide on acceptance of membership applications from private individuals. Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is the first legislative assembly in the country where Constitution Club has been created. Constitution Club has been set up in Jaipur on the lines of the Constitution Club in New Delhi and has been constructed by Rajasthan Housing Board in record time.
