MEGHWAL, BHATI MEET INJURED IN WEST BENGAL, OFFER HELP

Laxman Raghav Jaipur: Two senior ministers from Rajasthan Govind Ram Meghwal and Bhanwar Singh Bhati on Friday reached West Bengal to meet the injured passengers of Bikaner-Guwahati Express, which derailed on Thursday.

Some passengers from Rajasthan have been injured in the derailment, but their condition is out of danger. Bhati gave a full report of the train accident to CM Gehlot.

On the instructions of CM Gehlot, Rs 1 lakh will be given to the seriously injured and Rs 50,000 to minor injured. The state government will provide all possible help in the treatment of the injured passengers.

Govind Ram Meghwal and Bhanwar Singh Bhati have met the injured passengers. Health officers, including the Medical College Principal informed the two ministers about the injured passengers. Bhati said that six people are admitted in North Bengal Medical College.

Dharmendra Choudhary and Ishwarram Kumawat, who live in Nagaur’s Nawan, are seriously injured. Both of them have suffered injuries on their hands and feet.

However, the condition is out of danger. The matter was discussed with the Medical College Principal.

Bhati said that 26 injured are admitted in Jalpaiguri. The condition of all of them is also out of danger. There is no one from Bikaner among the injured.

No one was injured among the 191 passengers who boarded from Bikaner in both the Jalpaiguri and Medical College campuses.
