Kota: Birla promises help to farmers hit by unseasonal rains

Kota: Worried about damage caused to crops post unseasonal rains and hailstorm in Kota region, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla toured his parliamentary constituency on Sunday. He went to the rural areas of Kota and Bundi districts and met the farmers and saw the fields. Talking to First India, Om Birla said that he would provide compensation to the farmers for the damages and not tolerate any fault by the officers while making a report on the damages.

Birla took stock of the wheat field in Akodia village of Bundi.
Birla also attended the Pran Pratishtha Festival at Swami Narayan Temple as its chief guest. The Swaminarayan Temple on Mahalakshmipuram, Baran Road has been built at a cost of Rs 7 crore.
