JJM projects: ACS Agarwal asks officials to act against tardy firms

Jaipur: A review meeting was held at Jal Bhawan on Friday under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Subodh Agarwal through VC. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, he has instructed officials to be strict with contractors and firms who are showing negligence in the drinking water project.

Two projects in Jodhpur have been withdrawn from the contractor firms who did not complete the projects within the stipulated time. If there is no improvement in the work, the slow firms will not only be withdrawn from the ongoing projects but will also be debarred from tenders for upcoming projects.
