JALORE DEATH: BJP SEEKS MORE AID TO BOY’S FAMILY, QUICK JUSTICE

Jalore: The BJP demanded action against the owner of a private school after a minor Dalit boy died in Jalore dist after being allegedly beaten up by a teacher for touching a water pot. Nine-yearold Indra Kumar Meghwal died on Saturday allegedly after he was beaten up by the teacher.

The accused teacher, Chail Singh (40) has been held. BJP State President Satish Poonia said that such incidents happen when State Govt & CM are weak. Guilty must be punished at earliest, Poonia told reporters. BJP MLA Chandrakanta Meghwal and Baran MLA Panachand Meghwal wrote a letter to CM Gehlot seeking Rs 50 lakh to family of deceased student and also to give a govt job for family member. BJP MP Kirodi Lal Meena raised same demand, “If justice is not given, then I will soon reach Jalore.” BSP said it will give representations addressed to President on Tuesday.
