Hindu Sena Chief receives death threats over Ajmer Dargah case

Ajmer: Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta received death threats after calling the Ajmer Sharif Dargah as a site where an ancient Hindu temple existed and filing a case against it. Gupta has lodged a complaint in this regard at Barakhamba police station in Delhi.

Gupta said that he has received threat calls from Canada and a district in India. The caller threatened to behead him. An audio of the threat has also surfaced, which he has handed over to the police. Gupta said that he is not afraid of these threats and what he did was within the ambit of law. Police have registered a case and started an investigation.

Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani stated that 1,100–1,200 years ago, many centers of devotion were relocated. He emphasized that the matter is currently before the court, and its decision should be respected by all.
