Gogunda: Leopard caught in trap; Seventh in nearly 45 days
Gogunda: In a significant development from Gogunda, Udaipur, a leopard was successfully trapped in a cage set up by the Forest Department in Rana village. The trap was placed following complaints from villagers after two sheep were killed by the wild animal.
The capture has brought relief to the locals, who had been living in fear. A large crowd gathered to view the trapped leopard. This marks the seventh panther captured in the Gogunda area in recent weeks. Notably, Gogunda has been a hotspot for leopard activity in last two months.
