Farmers should get proper supply: Bhati
Jaipur: Energy Min Bhanwar Singh Bhati on Tuesday reviewed progress of various schemes & power corporations’ works including the power supply system, and release of agricultural connections. Bhati instructed the officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply to farmers and all other consumers in the Rabi season. Reviewing the status of the power supply, Bhati directed that in view of increasing number of connections and Rabi season in coming months, adequate availability of electricity should be provided. He said that there should be a proper calculation of demand and availability and farmers and other consumers should get an adequate supply of power. Principal Government Secretary Energy and Chairman Discoms Bhaskar A Sawant said that special attention should be given to quality while releasing agricultural connections. All components should be used and they should also be examined.
