Expand Ayushman Aarogya Yojana to include pvt hosps in villages: Khimsar
Jaipur: The scope of the Chief Minister’s Ayushman Aarogya Yojana operating in the state will now be expanded. Under this scheme, the network of private hospitals alongside government hospitals will now also be available in villages. Medical and Health Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar has directed the expansion of hospital network through private sector participation to ensure benefits of this scheme reach every citizen.
He mentioned that necessary changes and simplifications in the rules should be made for this purpose. Additionally, the grievance redressal system should be strengthened to address issues related to the scheme. The Minister issued these directives during a meeting held on Wednesday.
Principal Secretary of the Medical and Health Department — Gayatri Rathore — stated that the Health dept is working in mission mode to ensure accessibility of health services in every village.
