Dy CM Diya Kumari approves Rs 150 crore for rural roads of Raj

Jaipur: Dy Chief Minister and Minister of Public Works Department, Diya Kumari, has approved the construction of approximately 408 kilometers of rural roads at an estimated cost of Rs 150 crore.

Kumari stated that strengthening the rural road network will enhance the rural economy.

“Improved connectivity between villages and towns will enable farmers to sell their products in larger markets, securing better prices. Additionally, it will allow villagers to better access government welfare services such as healthcare and education,” she said.

The approved projects include road construction in various assembly constituencies.

Furthermore, additional funds have been sanctioned for detailed project reports (DPRs) for several key road upgrades.
