‘Despite cultural diversity, there is a sense of unity’
Mount Abu: Governor Kalraj Mishra interacted with people of Telangana origin at Mount Abu Raj Bhavan on Friday on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day. Mishra said that under the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Abhiyan’, initiative has been taken to celebrate the foundation day of the states at the Raj Bhavan level with the aim of strengthening the spirit of unity in diversity.
While congratulating on Telangana State Foundation Day, he said that on this day in 2014, Telangana came into existence as a state, from this point of view it is the youngest state in the country. “Despite the diversity of languages, living conditions and food habits in different states, there is a sense of unity in our country. This is what creates harmony,” he said.
Describing mutual interaction as necessary for cultural closeness, he called upon the natives of other states to participate in local programs while migrating to other states and also introduce the local people to their culture.On this occasion, Sirohi District Collector Dr. Bhanwar Lal, SP Mamta Gupta, Chief OSD to the Governor, Govindram Jaiswal, and other officers were present.
Mishra gave instructions to do effective work for the development of Mount Abu.
