CS renames SOM to Committee of Secretaries meeting, reviews key initiatives

Jaipur: The Senior Officers Meeting (SOM), chaired by CS Sudhansh Pant, has now been renamed the Committee of Secretaries (COS). Pant held the meeting on 22 agendas at the secretariat on Wednesday. Discussions included the PM Pragati portal and inter-departmental issues of JJM. A review was conducted on the progress of pending cabinet notes, implementation of budget announce - ments, and policy-making regarding new acts/rules or amendments, expecting immediate action from departments while ensuring efficient budget spending. He reviewed performance index of depts & discussed progress of plantation under Hariyalo Rajasthan. discussions covered DPRs related to afforestation, water conservationetc. He reviewed plaint disposal on Sampark portal, addressed sudden inspections by administrative secretary, & simplification of rules for better public service access.
