Boating, camp stay at Ranthambore Safari soon

Jaipur: Wildlife enthusiasts going for Ranthambore Tiger Safari can now enjoy boating in Palighat Gharial Sanctuary and also enjoy a stay on the banks of Chambal as the Forest Department will soon arrange tents, boating and other facilities here. Ranthambore National Reserve in Sawai Madhopur district is famous for tigers. On the same lines, the Chambal river flowing in the Khandar tehsil area of Sawai Madhopur district, home to alligators and crocodiles and it will be developed as another major centre for tourism. Tourists coming to Ranthambore for tiger safari will now be able to see migratory birds for free. AK Yadav, DFO of the National Chambal Gharial Project, said that the distance of Pali Ghat is just 30 minutes from R’bore, to facilitate the tourists, urinals have been installed at various places and arrangements for drinking water have been made. Tents have been put up with Cafeteria and refreshment facilities.
