Birla: We need to work in unison to build a new India

Kota: LS Speaker Om Birla is on a tour to his parliamentary constituency Kota-Bundi these days. He celebrated Rakshabandhan with the families of Corona victims for the second consecutive year as women and daughters of corona affected families tied Rakhis to Birla at the camp office. Celebrating Rakhi with him, the women stressed that their ‘Bhai’ remembered them. Birla also listened to their problems and assured of speedy solution. Martyr Hemraj’s wife Madhubala also tied Rakhi on Birla’s wrist & has been doing it since last three years.

Speaking to the media, Birla said, “This festival also enables us so that we could serve everyone as a protector and overcome their problems. During this period, how can we fulfil our collective duty for the welfare of the last poor should be our resolve. So let us work collectively to take this country forward, so that we can build a new India.” Madhubala said, “ I think that the tricolour, which is being given to every house, should be respected. Because I have held the tricolour in my hand. My husband came wrapped in the tricolour. Therefore, it is necessary to respect those who are distributing it.”
