ACB nabs Alwar excise officer taking Rs 3L bribe

Jaipur/Alwar: In yet another action against corrupt officials, ACB on Wednesday arrested an RAS officer red handed for taking bribe in Alwar. Suresh Kumar Ahir, RAS & excise officer of Alwar was arrested for accepting a bribe of Rs 3 lakh. ADG of ACB (Addl Charge-DG) Hemant Priyadarshy informed that a complaint was given by a person that Ahir was troubling the complainant regarding the issue of passing the location of godown of licenced liquor shop and was demanding a bribe of Rs 6 lakh. DIG Randheer Singh of ACB Jaipur and Deputy SP of ACB Alwar-II unit laid trap and caught Ahir red handed accepting Rs 3 lakh.
