7 patients under treatment, NHAI removes officer
Jaipur: Treatment is ongoing for seven patients injured in the Bhankrota fire incident under the supervision of Additional Principal Dr. R.K. Jain at SMS hospital in Jaipur. Meanwhile, patient Shailendra has been discharged from the hospital today. Out of the seven patients, two are in critical condition, while five are showing signs of improvement. Among the critically injured, Neera has sustained 45% burns, Somraj 35%, and Ramesh 35%. Salim, Surendra, and Kapil have suffered burns of 20% each, while Naresh’s condition remains stable.
Meanwhile, following the feedback from the state government, NHAI has removed Regional Officer DK Chaturvedi from his position. Chaturvedi has been transferred from Jaipur to the NHAI Headquarters in Delhi as GM Technical. Abdul Basit will now take over as the new Regional Officer for Rajasthan. Previously serving as the incharge CGM at NHAI HQ, Abdul Basit will assume his duties in Jaipur on Monday.
