40 MLAs, many ministers may be denied ticket on basis of survey

New Delhi: An internal survey in Congress, carried out by Mind Share head Sunil Kanugolu on behalf of the AICC, has considered 60 to 70 seats as weak. Out of these, there is a need to cut the tickets of MLAs on 40 seats and 5 ministers are also on the radar. Tickets were distributed in Karnataka on the basis of Kanugolu’s survey and Congress formed the government there.

In such a situation, Congress party may give a chance to new people in Rajasthan Assembly elections. Congress is contesting the Assembly elections by keeping CM Gehlot’s plans forward but many MLAs facing anti-incumbency as such their tickets may be axed. This time, Congress is moving forward only on the basis of winning candidate.

On the other hand, BJP high command thinks that last time the tickets were not selected properly as such brainstorming is happening for each seat in New Delhi.
