348 govt schools to be converted to English!
Jaipur: The state government has decided to convert 348 government schools in the state into Mahatma Gandhi Rajkiya Vidyalaya English Medium.
Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra tweeted the information. The students will get admission in 348 English medium schools in the state from the year 2021-22 itself.
In fact, 205 Mahatma Gandhi Government English Medium schools are currently operating in Rajasthan. In the budget announcement, the state government announced the opening of 1200 Mahatma Gandhi Government English Medium Schools in rural areas and towns with a population of more than 5,000. Under which approval has been issued to convert 348 schools to English medium in the first phase.

“The process of admission of students will be started soon. The schedule of interview for the selection of staff will be released soon,” Saurabh Swamy, director of the Board of Secondary Education.
