33 dists’ water testing labs get NABL accreditation

Jaipur: Under the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), the work of National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories ‘NABL Accreditation’ of drinking water quality testing laboratories operating in all the districts. State level drinking water quality testing laboratory is at PHED headquarters in Jaipur.

Apart from this, there are district level laboratories in 32 districts. Now all these 33 laboratories have got NABL certification.

Water Resources Minister Mahesh Joshi said that following orders of CM the PHED is constantly expanding facilities to check the quality of drinking water.

Joshi congratulated all the officers, especially the chief chemist and the team working in the districts.
