31 tourists greeted with red carpet

Jaipur: Rajasthan’s luxury train Palace on Wheels made its first stop in Jaipur during the current season, where tourists were warmly welcomed at Gandhi Nagar railway station.

A total of 31 tourists from eight countries arrived on this inaugural trip, including 12 from India, 5 each from the USA and the UK, 2 each from Australia, Sri Lanka, and Singapore, and 1 each from Poland, Ukraine and Spain.

Upon arrival, the tourists were greeted with a red carpet welcome, accompanied by traditional Rajasthani performers who presented dance and music. Elephants showered the tourists with flower petals. Following the reception, the tourists were taken on a tour of the capital’s historic monuments.
