3 hotels face excise action for liquor law violations
Jaipur: Three hotels in the capital city faced action last night by the Excise Department. At Karkash Hotel near Jagatpura Pulia, officials discovered 16 cartons of liquor despite the hotel owner lacking a bar license. A case has been registered against the owner. The department also inspected Avantikasa Hotel, where they found more occasional licenses than permitted. Similarly, Raghunandan Hotel Bar at Chomu House Circle was investigated. The actions were carried out under the orders of Excise Commissioner Shivprasad Nakate and the supervision of Jaipur City DEO Devika Tomar. This month alone, inspections have been conducted at around 10 hotels in Jaipur.
Action was also taken against the hotel operator, and all liquor stock on the premises was confiscated.
